Two copies of the senior project must be submitted to the Soil Science Department. One senior project will be placed on permanent file within the Soil Science Department. The second copy will be sent by the department to the university library where it will be copied on microfiche. The microfiche copy of the project will become part of the library's collection where it will be available for public use. Each student is required to pay the $6.00 microfiche fee at the cashier's office in the Administration Building. The receipt must accompany the library copy of your senior project. After being copied on microfiche, the senior project will be returned to the Soil Science Department. Senior projects with non-print media format (slides, audio or video tapes, computer discs) will be permanently retained in the library's collection.
The senior project that remains in the Soil Science Department is to be bound by the student in a heavy weight stock cover, available at the El Corral Bookstore. The second senior project for the library is to be un-bound and placed in a plain manila envelope, 10" by 12" and addressed: Library- Senior Project. Inside the envelope, with the un-bound senior project, should be the white copy of the cashier's receipt for $6.00. The Senior Project Requirement Form will be typed by the Soil Science Department Secretary and sent with the senior project to the library. Additional copies are at the discretion of the student.
