It is our Mission :

To prepare students for successful and challenging careers in land use management, natural resource conservation, environmental management, and prudent land stewardship.

To be the premier undergraduate Soil Science program in the nation, by providing excellent science based classroom and laboratory instruction as well as outstanding research opportunities in Earth and Soil Sciences.

To promote a broader understanding of our natural environment by providing opportunities for collaborative interactions among the disciplines of soil science, earth science, agriculture, geography and geology.
